  • You should

    1. inform the insurance company of any loss &/or occurrence which may give rise to a claim and any relevant notice, summons and writ must be forwarded to the insurance company at once on receipt

    2. report to police immediately for traffic accident or theft of the insured vehicle

    3. take photos of the accident scene and all involved vehicles (if possible)

    4. file a complaint to the Police if necessary

    5. (For own damage claims) Submit the quotation prepared by the garage to the insurance company pending its approval

    6. not admit liability or make settlement with any third party without prior consent of the insurance company

  • Documents Required

    1. A completed Motor Vehicle Claim Form (original)

    2. Police Statement and a signed Letter of Consent if police is involved

    3. A copy of the Vehicle Registration Document of your insured vehicle (both sides of the document)

    4. Copies of the driver’s / your HKID and Driving Licence

    5. Screening Breath Test result, if applicable

    6. Photos taken at the accident scene and all involved vehicles

    7. Own Damage claim – repair quotation for the insured vehicle

    8. Third Party claim – all documents received from any third party
